If you’re looking for some stylish but comfortable and functional pieces to wear right now, don’t sleep on Girlfriend Collective. While not a traditional maternity brand, the activewear assortment is still pregnancy friendly with a mix of maternity and everyday items that will work with your bump, in addition to being sustainable, affordable and super cute!

Here are a few items we’re currently loving.

Seamless maternity leggings and bike shorts

A comfy legging is essential pre and postpartum, but what makes this one different is the color assortment, which includes chic muted tones such as moss and plum, in addition to neutrals. The legging is stretchy and lightweight, has built in UPF protection and features a foldable over-the-belly rise that can accommodate growing bellies.

What we also love about Girlfriend Collective is their inclusivity, and this legging comes in sizes ranging from XXS through 6XL, as well as two different inseam lengths. Bonus points that it’s made from recyclable materials.

This style is also available in a bike short, available in the same colors and range of sizes. Why not get both?

Stretchy Long Sleeve Tee

A soft tee is your best friend during pregnancy, regardless of your level of activity! What we love about this tee is the soft, stretchy fabric and flattering details like side shirring, which complements your bump. It’s also moisture wicking, perfect for active mamas on-the-go (although no judgment if you wear it for an evening of TV binging).

This style comes in the same chic, muted palette as the leggings and bike shorts, making it easy to build an effortless capsule wardrobe!

Comfortable Bras

A good bra is essential, especially pre and postpartum. A good bra is even more important for active mamas and mamas to be, which is why we love Girlfriend Collective’s workout bras. Yes, “bras” plural because we like choices!

The one shoulder bra provides maximum comfort and maximum style. It offers low support but the stretch detail accommodates for fluctuating cup sizes, which is great for those navigating nursing. It also offers UPF protection and is moisture wicking, so you can actually exercise in it!

If you need a little more support, try the clip nursing bra, which is a more classic scoopneck bra. It offers the same type of stretch, UPF protection and moisture wicking that the crossover bra does, but with added support. This bra features removable pads, concealable hook & eye closures and adjustable straps.

Both styles are available in the same sizes and colors as the other maternity pieces, making it easy to mix and match. Try pairing the one shoulder bra with the maternity legging and the reset long sleeve tee. It’s not technically maternity, but the oversized fit and complimentary colors will make for a cute outfit! If the clip nursing bra is more your style, wear it with the maternity bike shorts and try layering the fleece vest over it for some additional (cute) coverage.

Non-Maternity Wear

Girlfriend Collective also has plenty of other non-maternity styles that will work just as well during pregnancy as they will postpartum. Here are a few of our suggestions:

For those needing a bit more warmth, the sideline full-zip windbreaker is a sleek, minimalist but functional style that will get you through winter even beyond pregnancy. It’s lightweight but designed to keep you warm in chilly wind. You won’t have to sacrifice warmth for style in this jacket!

It’s the season for sweats and if you want to look both cute and comfy, look no further than the classic sweatshirt and jogger pairing. Both styles are made from cozy cotton and feature plush lining, and feature ribbing at the neck, cuff, hem and waistband. The sweatshirt features a drop sleeve and the joggers have a straight leg for a relaxed, easy vibe although you may want to size up for your bump. And these styles get bonus points for the colors. Yes, you can opt for classic neutrals like cream, or you can choose from fun hues such as cerulean. Why not mix & match?

Lastly, because you’re pregnant you’re going to spend a lot of time lounging and you need a good robe. We love the Bonsai dream robe because of its lightweight material and drapey fit. The fabric is luxuriously soft and the relaxed fit makes it suitable for pregnancy and beyond. But did we mention this robe comes in 12 colors? You can choose from the classic options or opt for some color with hues like papaya and water lily. You do you!
