Product review: Emamaco maternity leggings

This is my second pregnancy, and I knew from the beginning that I was going to gain a lot of weight, just like I did the first time around. In the first trimester, my extra-tight non-maternity leggings were already too snug, my jeans didn’t fit, and my hips expanded right away making it clearly evident that I was pregnant from the very start. I had heard about Emamaco maternity leggings and really wanted to see what the fuss was about.

I knew I would need maternity leggings at some point soon, so I purchased my first pair during the first trimester from Emamaco. I’m usually a size M, but given the fact that I tend to gain weight continuously during my pregnancies, I opted for a size L in the Emamaco maternity leggings. I started wearing them as soon as I got them, and oh my goodness, I couldn’t believe how good they felt. And I’ve tried a lot of leggings.

Firstly, The fabric is incredibly soft, like butter, and I’m not exaggerating. While super comfortable – like beyond – these leggings are extra stretchy. I wouldn’t recommend anyone go up in size as I did as in the first trimester they were a little bit bit too big. Fast forward to month 6 of gestation, they fit amazingly and are so comfy, it feels like I’m wearing pajamas.

Plus, they make my butt look fantastic.

I’m currently seven months pregnant and have been controlling my diet a bit due to my PCOS. My size L Emamaco leggings fit perfectly now, still look like new, and are easy to put on and take off. I decided to buy my second pair, this time opting for one with pockets in size M, mainly for some extra support around my belly. I must be honest, I was afraid they would be too tight.

I received my package, and OMG. The medium did not disappoint this time either. Again, I got the extra stretchy, comfy, soft, and versatile leggings I had fallen for with my first pair.

Thanks to the pockets, I can basically live in these pants. Plus they offer extra support around my belly, (and my butt looks even better).

I love wearing both sizes, one for feeling like I’m wearing nothing, and the second for extra support. It’s winter where I am right now, but I’m still going to buy the bike shorts from this gorgeous label.
