Nestled between the coast and hinterland in Queensland is one of Australia’s most undeniably stylish destinations, frequented by mamas on their summer babymoons. I recently went for a much-needed escape and couldn’t help but admire the style on display by mamas to be, as well as those with young babies and toddlers. What stood out was the effortless simplicity of what these mamas were wearing. Think swimwear as outfits, , unironed linen and monochrome with splashes of gold.

While everyone under the age of 16 was wearing crocs – honestly, did we even have that on our bingo cards? – stylish chunky slides were firmly in for our generation.
